Saturday July 31
We are still struggling to find organizations to work with to teach our Cubs about Conservation and allow them to serve their communities. With that in mind there is nothing to stop us from helping out our communities on our own! This weekend, take your Cub out to their favorite place to hike or walk. Bring a trash bag and some gloves and make your favorite spot as clean as it deserves to be! Let the Cubmaster know when this has been completed and how many hours your Cub spent doing it. This is something you can do anytime with your family but for the purposes of this activity we want you to do this specifically on July 31st. |

Mount Baker Council Virtual CamporALL Sadly the statewide ban on gatherings has meant the postponement of the Annual Camporee hosted by the Mount Baker Council. But we are Scouts, and we will adapt to these challenges! See information below for our Council's first (and hopefully only) virtual Camporee! We are inviting ALL of our Scouting families (as well as their non Scouting Friends and neighbors) to camp in their own backyard Friday night, May 1st. To encourage family time and Scouting, and where safe to do so, set up camp Friday night, cook dinner outside, and enjoy a virtual Campfire program with all of us across the Council. On Saturday morning, make breakfast outside, join us for a Virtual Flag ceremony, virtual activities, and a Family Service project! Let’s keep the “outing” in Scouting! Details found here. |
